History of ufo & defination of ufo

From time to time throughout history there have been reports of strange things seen in the sky. In 1946 a series of sightings occurred in Sweden. And in the summer of 1947 there were thousands of sightings in a six week period, and at least 350 people found themselves first and second-hand witnesses to what may have been an actual crash of a UFO with occupants. Since 1947, reports of UFOs have become increasingly numerous in the U.S. and other parts of the world. These reports continue in much the same form today.

UFO sightings are reported to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) at Seguin, TX, and CUFOS (J. Allen Center for UFO Studies) in Chicago, IL, by a broad spectrum of the public, particularly through local law enforcement agencies. UFOs themselves are reported by many highly responsible people, e.g. military and civilian pilots, air traffic controllers, scientists, etc.

The majority of present-day sightings prove to be misinterpretations of natural phenomena: meteors, planets, and stars, or man-made objects such as airplanes, balloons, and satellites. These are referred to as identified flying objects (IFOs). A smaller number of reports cannot be investigated properly due either to lack of pertinent details or the inaccessibility of witnesses. In any given set of UFO reports, however, there remains a residue of about 5-10% which are truly puzzling, not only to witnesses, but to technically trained investigators who study the reports.

While UFO reports differ in many details, there are also a number of similarities recurring in such features as shape, maneuverability, appearance and disappearance, sound and color. There are several basic observational categories into which the unidentifieds may be classified.

The number of sightings worldwide must be in the millions, but there are over 106,000 entries on the UFOCAT (UFO Catalog) computer database. And over three thousand sightings have been cataloged by Dr. Richard Haines, a leading expert on sightings from aircraft, in his "Selected Sightings From Aircraft", observations from over 40 countries. "A long history of UFOs pacing aircraft or rockets, circling them, and fleeing when pursued by military jets, suggests some form of intelligence and curiosity."

The Roswell UFO crash: Myths and facts

There are some facts associated with Roswell that are indisputable and undisputed. We may never know if an alien space craft crashed in Roswell New Mexico in 1947 but there are at least three facts that we know for sure that lead us to believe that one did.

The first fact is that something crashed in Roswell and this fact is undisputed. What is disputed is what it was.

We do not know if this was in fact a flying disc of extra terrestrial origin or if it was a top secret mogul balloon made of unique materials of terrestrial origin.

The second fact is that the United States Military publicly announced to reporters that they had captured a flying disc shaped object of extra terrestrial origin and this fact is not in dispute. If one were to search the archives one could find the
newspaper headlines. Subsequently the United States Military changed its position saying what was recovered was nothing more than a weather balloon. This fact leads us to two possible conclusions. The first conclusion is that the United States Army officer that declared to the press that we had recovered a UFO was incompetent and could not distinguish between a flying saucer shaped disc of extra terrestrial origin and and a highly specialized balloon made of unique materials of terrestrial origin. I do not subscribe to the first conclusion. The second conclusion is that Military intelligence realized how important a military secret a UFO would be and subsequently covered up the find.

The Third fact is that a cover up happened and this is not in dispute. The United States Government has in more recent years declared that they did in fact participate in a cover up of what actually happened in the Roswell crash. They have said that they were covering up the mogul balloon by calling it a weather balloon. This leads us to only one conclusion. The United States Government can not be trusted to tell its sovereign citizens the truth. The United States Government lies as a matter of course to its people. They have admitted that they lie to us on several occasions and I do not see them coming forward with the truth about Roswell until long after we have been publicly visited by extra terrestrials.

We do know that we have been lied to by our government and that a cover up did exist, we know that either our military officers in 1947 were either incompetent or forced to lie to protect a military secret, and we know there was a crash in Roswell that our military reported was a flying saucer. The fact is that Aliens are here on earth and the US government knows about it. This is a fact even though it is in dispute.

Many people have their own story. they claim that they have seen the UFOs .but it may or may not be real so let here is some feeling of the people who have seen the UFOs

"I dunno, maybe this will ruin all vestiges of scientific credibility I’ve tried to create for myself, but I can’t help but post what just happened to me a little bit ago.

A couple of hours ago I got a call from an old high school buddy. We chatted it up for a while, and after I hung up, I stepped outside. It’s been fairly nice out, though a little windy. I start pacing around trying to rid myself of cabin fever, and reminiscing a bit about the good old days. There was a lot of cloud cover. Great sheets of cloud were being blown much faster than usual, rolling across the sky at a pretty quick pace. The moon wasn’t full, but it was on its way, and the night was well lit.

Gradually the clouds slow to a halt and there was a nearly perfectly circular gap in them that was kinda like a window looking directly at the moon. My mind was wandering, and I paced back and forth, ocasionally stopping to look at the bright moon and marvel at the Silvery Light reflecting off the clouds and the Grandness of the Scheme and The Works of His Hands and all that sappy rubbish.

After doing this for about ten minutes, I look at the moon again and just when I start to turn away, I notice not quite out of the corner of my eye a tiny pin-prick of red light sitting right below the center of the moon which as soon as I see it, zips in a perfectly straight line to the right and disappears behind the cloud cover.

Before I can get over what I just saw, which I immediately wondered if I was seeing a UFO or if my mind was playing tricks on me (though leaning towards the former). I’ve seen shooting stars, but they were always pale, ephemeral things that traveled in weak arcs. This light looked more “solid” and traveled in a perfectly straight line.

Suddenly, I see another identical tiny red light, this one at the moon’s upper left side. It also immediate zips in a straight line, although at about a 60 degree angle out to the upper left, and behind the cloud cover. Now I was really wondering what was going on. Again, I thought “UFO,” but felt stupid. Even though it didn’t look like a shooting star, I knew I was no astronomer and I could have been wrong. But I didn’t think I was.

At this point I’m really weirded out. I sort of deny what I had seen. I go back inside and ask dad to step out. When he comes I tell him to look at the moon. Together we stand there looking at the moon. He asks why I wanted him to look at the moon. I explain to him what happened. He tells me to go get some binoculars and look at the moon through those.

I run inside and come back out. I pull up a chair and sit there for about five minutes staring at the moon. I got a pretty good look at it, through the binoculars you can see the craters and everything, which surprised me. Dad gets bored and goes in. I sit there for about ten more minutes. Nothing.

I get up and start moving around. The nervous energy was driving me to pace about. About ten minutes later I look up again and I see a tiny spot of pale yellow light. “Ha!” I think, “Another UFO!” The light was really tiny and moving slowly towards my right. It pulsed regularly. I chastise myself for thinking it was a UFO.

After seeing the weird red lights by the moon, my imagination is running away from me and now every little plane or star is going to look like a UFO. I felt stupid. Then again, this light was kind of…odd. Something about it just seemed “un-airplane-like,” although at this point I couldn’t put my finger on just what it was.

I live not to far from an airport, so we get a lot of planes in and out of the area, but planes usually have red or green lights or something besides the blinking white strobe. This had no trace of any color besides pale yellow. And, the way this object “flashed,” I dunno it was just a bit different than the way I remembered planes flashing. It was almost like the timing was a bit less regular it just seemed more… organic. Later I decided that “pulsing” was a term more suited to the way the light changed brightness.

Still, it was silly to act like this was anything other than a normal everyday plane at high altitude. I thought my imagination was running away with me. I know I’ve said this before, but everytime I started to think I was seeing a UFO, I felt really stupid and embarrassed. After all it was moving at the right speed, certainly not making right angle turns or any of that UFO type stuff. I get a little bored with this airplane and as I turn away, just out of the corner of my eye, I notice it speeding up.

In just about a second, it ends up at about one and a half times to twice the speed that it was before. The object begins changing the “behavior” of its light. It now looked smaller, but no less bright. It’s color changes almost imperceptively towards the redder end of the spectrum. Previously it had been slowly pulsing, but this quickly became a rapid “flickering.”

Then, if all this wasn’t weird enough, it does something that really stuns me. It makes a sudden “U-turn,” and is now flying back up and over the path it had been going before. Once it gets about two thirds of the way back to where it was when I first noticed it, it stops. It paused briefly, and then stunned me even further by shooting off to the right and disappearing in a nearly straight but slightly parabolic path. The light left an extremely long, faint motion blur behind it.

Even though I had briefly considered that it may be a UFO, I didn’t expect it to really be one. I felt weird after seeing that, like sort of dazed. I then began searching for conventional explanations. It flew horizontally at a nearly straight line at high speed, so it had to be a satellite, right? I stood rooted at that one spot.

I still felt dazed, and tried to review the events in my mind. The rapid U-turn the light performed killed the satellite explanation. At this point I realized that I had literally gone into denial about what I had seen. Whatever this was, it wasn’t an airplane, satellite or shooting star. This dazed period lasted only a few seconds, but it seemed much longer.

Now the clouds were starting to roll in again and the object vanished. I went over to the right following the direction the light traveled, estimating where I would be able to see it again if the clouds cleared up. Then I waited. Suddenly it appeared again, when the clouds started thinning out. It made weird random motions like whirligig beetles on a pond. It was flying faster than I had ever seen an airplane of similar altitude fly, but not extremely fast like a meteor. It made swooping turns. Everytime it did this, just like before, it pulsed faster and looked a bit more reddish.

It vanished again as the clouds started rolling overhead again. Then appeared briefly. More clouds rolled in. I don’t know how many times I saw the object again, but it was a couple. Maybe four at the most. The clouds started rolling in even faster, until the entire sky was covered and the light was hidden from view.

I waited and the object didn’t appear. After I became confident I wouldn’t miss seeing the object again in the process, I went in to get my dad again, hoping it would appear for him and my story could be corroberated. We waited about 10 minutes. The clouds covered the sky completely and showed no signs of clearing up. Dad went back inside. I waited outside staying vigilant, watching the sky. About 45 minutes or so, later I gave up and went inside again.

I don’t know how long this experience lasted. The last time I had check a clock, it was not quite 9:30. It was 11:08 when I came in. The first thing I did after the incident was begin typing this. It took me about an hour, I think, before I actually posted it"

now in how much it is real or not u have to identify

what is ufo?

This is the main issu of this word .sometimes wee feel that there is another types of man too .they are alive and loooking our actives but it may not be right because here is no anything which can be tell u fearly .but it is sure that some undefined flying object is here in the word .which may be the the flying object of the some developed country and they used it to observe the actives of the other country.so we can't tell the truth till than when the all developed country is set into the unity .but if here is exitence of the other planet's animal or man then they may be strong or power ful then us and they may have developed then us .there is also other probability is there may be other planet which may not have developed then us.

ufo mysteris

A UFO is a general term used for any “unidentified flying object” in the sky which cannot be discerned by an observer . Most UFOs remain classified as so even after they have been investigated. The UFO phenomenon dates back as far as the beginning of recorded history, but UFO sightings have significantly increased since the mid 1940s.
From UFO videos to UFO pictures, stories and other real life accounts, thousands of people from all walks of life claim to have seen these mysterious aerial phantoms. Many UFO sightings turn out to be nothing at all, mere airplanes, meteors or comets; however, many sightings have gone unsolved for decades or even centuries.
The term “flying saucer” came into popular use after American Kenneth Arnold claimed a UFO sighting on June 24, 1947 near Mount Rainier, Washington. Arnold claimed to have seen as many as nine brightly lit objects soaring across the sky at speeds he estimated as up to 1200 miles per hour. Arnold also reported that the objects appeared to have a disc or “saucer” appearance. No final conclusion has ever been reached in the case.
One of the most famous UFO incidents to date also occurred in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico. After unidentified debris was recovered from the property of a Roswell ranch, the Roswell Army Airfield issued a statement saying that a “flying disk” had been discovered. The airfield retracted the statement just hours later, claiming it was just a weather balloon. This sparked local and nation-wide rumors of an alleged government cover-up of an alien UFO that had crashed in the New Mexico desert. No definitive proof has been produced to this day to support that theory.

even pilot seen the ufo?

The most convincing UFO reports were produced in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s by airline pilots, military pilots and ex-military pilots. These men had the training and the experience to be able to distinguish between normal sky sights and highly abnormal sights. They knew what airplanes looked like, and what meteors looked like, having seen them many times. Their visual observations were frequently supported by radar data which showed essentially the same thing. They were therefore able, on many occasions, to methodically eliminate conventional phenomena from consideration when trying to identify UFOs. In those same decades, most UFO sightings were made in the daytime and frequently at close range, when shapes and surface features could be distinguished, thus making positive identification of normal sights easier and the descriptions of unusual sights more detailed. When all normal explanations had been eliminated, the witnesses could concentrate on those aspects of the experience which were most abnormal. These abnormal aspects included the shapes of UFOs and their behavior. Most of the UFOs seen in the daytime were said to have had simple geometric shapes--discs, ovals, spheres, cylinders--and surfaces that looked like metal. Such shapes are not only nonexistent among known aircraft, but contrary to all known theories of flight, in most cases offering control and performance disadvantages rather than advantages.
